Her passion to “finish well” is only surpassed by a deep desire to serve and help individuals succeed. Distinguished Toastmaster Shirley E. Daley is a consummate, passionate servant leader.
She has been involved in Toastmasters International for over thirty-two (32) years and her home club is Sagicor Group Jamaica Toastmasters Club in Kingston. Our Region Advisor is responsible for Region 8 and she assumed office on April 1, 2022. She will be supporting Districts 14, 44, 47, 48, 77, 81, 84 and 111- Brazil Territorial Council (BTC). These Districts span the Bahamas, Brazil, the Caribbean and the United States of America.

Our Region Advisor is convinced that her involvement in the Toastmasters dynamic movement has not only helped to shape her effectiveness as a leader, speaker and presenter but sharpen her life skills.
She is an Educator and Insurance Executive with over 30 years’ experience in the financial services, public sector and education fields. This trained workshop facilitator, communication and marketing consultant, teacher of French and Spanish is au fait with Brand Management and Leadership.
As immediate past district governor in 2011, Shirley was appointed as a Brand Ambassador to coincide with the rollout of the new Toastmasters International brand in August 17, 2011 at the International Convention in Las Vegas, Nevada USA.
One of her desires is for us to engage together in, “Bringing the Toastmasters Brand to Life!”

An ardent attendee at Toastmasters International Conventions since the year 2000, this Brand Ambassador is fortunate to connect with not only members but District and international leaders from Calgary in Canada to Chennai in India, Taipei in Taiwan to Topeka in Kansas, USA and counting. She has taken the Toastmasters message across the world, thus fulfilling the mission of empowering individuals to become more effective communicators and leaders.
The key role of our Region Advisor is to support District leaders in achieving the District mission and she brings to the position her different work experiences especially in performance management, marketing and strategic planning. With multifaceted skills set, she has honed her expertise in communication and leading cross-functional teams.
She is ready, willing and able to fulfill the role of Region 8 Advisor.
