SHARINE MINGUEL

CLUB GROWTH DIRECTOR

"Why do I want to serve as CGD?

As a Toastmasters of 21 year, I have served in different capacities and also in several district committees and all of these roles helped shaped me to become the toastmaster and leader I am today. Being on the Member Retention and PQD committee (2019-2022) gave me powerful insight to understand the mission of the District. Having been the Area Director three times even since the Territorial Council and then Provisional District gave me the opportunity to work directly with clubs to understand the dynamics and help them succeed.

My professional life as manager in a prestigious financial institution also contributed to my leadership development which on its turn helped me to lead the way. I believe I have gained so much experience that I consider it time for me to give back, my knowledge and skills, to our District and to help take it to the next level and what better way to do it than as Club Growth Director.

I believe in this role I will be able to have a direct impact on the member experience and the success of the district.

DIVISION  H

FLOOR CANDIDATE

"I can recount numerous ways in which Toastmasters has positively impacted my life. However, I believe it is now time for me to give back by taking on a new challenge that pushes me beyond my comfort zone.

I have been a member of Toastmasters since 2013. Initially, I started by simply attending meetings, but over time, I gained the confidence to take on various roles within the club. I was fortunate to have mentors whom encouraged me to step into leadership positions on club level up to Area Director.

I also volunteer for a local foundation which promotes the importance of reading and encourages parents to read to their children. I have always held the belief that success benefits everyone when we collaborate towards common goal. It begins with individual goals, and by serving our members to achieve theirs, the board of directors and the club as a whole also reach theirs. This synergy creates a domino effect. As Division Director my aim is to nurture and strengthen our clubs collectively, alongside all stakeholders. I firmly believe in fostering unity and upholding the core values of Toastmasters.

My name is Loufran Tromp, and am running for Division Director H.
