District 81: Club members photography competition

How to Submit Entry
Photos must be uploaded on the Caribbean Toastmasters dropbox no later than Monday, 28th February 2022 at 23:59pm. Ensure that the file is saved based on the following format: (First name-Last name-Club name)
Only maximum three (3) photos are accepted per member. All photos must be in .JPG format at a resolution of 300dpi or at least one megabybe (1MB).
Photos must be taken in accordance with the theme of the competition. Photos submitted must be the contestant’s own work. Any props showing in the picture must reflect the current branding guidelines.
Any photos submitted that are not in compliance with the competition rules will be disqualified.
Upon submission of your photo, you authorize Caribbean Toastmasters to publish your photos on the Caribbean Toastmasters Website, Caribbean Toastmasters Social media platforms or for any other use or purpose at Caribbean Toastmaster’s sole discretion.
Photos will be judged by a panel of 5 judges chosen within the District 81 clubs. There will be one first place photo contest winner. The judges will judge the photos based on:
- Adherence to theme
- Adherence to branding guidelines
- Uniqueness of concept
- Clarity and quality
- Color, lighting, exposure and focus
All photos must be original work, taken by the entrants. No third party may own or control any materials the photo contains, and the photo must not infringe upon the trademark, copyright, moral rights, intellectual rights, or rights of privacy of any entity or person.
The content of the photo cannot be altered by removing, adding, reversing, or distorting subjects within the frame. Edits such as cropping, adjustments to color, or conversion to grayscale are permitted.
Caribbean toastmasters reserves the right to disqualify any entry that is deemed inappropriate or does not conform to stated contest rules.
By entering the contest, entrants agree that photos submitted can be used by Caribbean Toastmasters for marketing and advertising purposes.
Submissions will not be accepted once the deadline lapses.
The winner will be contacted via the email address provided on the registration form.
The contest is void where prohibited or restricted by law.
You have not licensed any rights in the work that will conflict with the usage rights required by Caribbean Toastmasters.
You have the permission of any persons in the work, or if they are under 18, the consent of their parent or guardian to grant the usage rights required by Caribbean Toastmasters.
You will be responsible for any claim made by any third party in respect of your entry and to fully indemnify Caribbean Toastmasters in respect of all royalties, fees and any other monies owing to any person or entity by reason of your breaching any of the foregoing.
